Hi our vanity was just installed in the bathroom.
Any suggestions on how to fix.
I got new granite counter tops and apparently the wall was not built straight but the granite back splash was cut straight so now i have a 3 8th inch gap in some places while it is flush in others.
We got it in okay but the vanity top made out of marble is will not sit flush.
We surprise ourselves with what we can come up with when we find a problem.
Still not the clean look i was after but don t know what else to do.
It s really on thick now.

It s pretty much stuck in place.
I have a client that has been caulking a 3 16 gap between the backsplash of her countertop and the wall for a while.
The wall bows and there is a quarter inch gap or more between the vanity and tile.

We have found out the wall is not square.
The only way it will sit straight is to not be against the wall hence we have a large gap between the backsplash and wall tiled.
Even if you manage to get the cabinet tight enough against the wall to make this gap unnoticeable movements in the wall or the cabinet may open one up later.
The vanity top came with one backsplash for the back only i didn t want to use it as i preferred the tile look as a backsplash.
Don t tell me to caulk the area the counter top is a spotted gray and walls are red so there isn t any caulk that i could buy that would look right besides filling that area.
